GreenPowerMonitor

GreenPowerMonitor is the all-in-one monitoring solution for renewable energy systems. There is an ever increasing necessity to remotely control the installations, in order to follow-up their correct operation and performance, which makes it essential to have a monitoring solution in place.
GreenPowerMonitor offers the entire package of independent monitoring Systems, from the best real-time remote monitoring system to the GPM PV+ (plant maintenance software). The process of data acquisition is carried out by the DAM (Data Acquisition Module). It can gather data via sensors, or also by communicating with the different devices in the installation (inverters, meters, relays, thermal controllers, etc.). Data are transmitted automatically.
From anywhere in the world, you will be able to check the status of your installation by accessing the web application offered by GreenPowerMonitor.
You will be able to detect any anomaly thanks to the alarm system, via sms or email, depending on the parameters that are configured in the web application.
GreenPowerMonitor offers its clients a generic brand, so that the web application can be customized with your corporate logos and colours.

Green Power Choice

"Green Power" is a term for electricity that is partially or entirely generated from environmentally preferable renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, biomass, hydro - and, in our case - methane gas.

Your electric cooperative views an investment in green power as an investment in the future of our communities.

As part of our Green Power Choice program, methane gas at Springhill Regional Landfill is collected and used to produce electricity (see How it works), which is blended into our overall generation mix.

Our members have the opportunity to support the Green Power Choice program and renewable energy by purchasing green power in 100-kilowatt hour increments.

The use of renewable energy not only improves the availability of future fossil fuel supply, but it also further diversifies our generation mix. Greater generation diversity provides a more reliable power supply and a small hedge against increasing coal and natural gas prices.

Helping the environment today is vital to protecting our environment for tomorrow. Consuming 400 kWhs of electricity generated from methane gas for one year prevents 3.6 tons of emissions. That's the environmental equivalent of planting 1.2 acres of trees or not driving 9,600 miles in the family car.

Please take this important step with us to ensure a safe, clean environment for future generations.

Green Power NYC

Green power is energy that is generated in an environmentally sustainable manner using renewable forms of energy like small hydro, wind and solar power. The use of these alternative sources of energy is an important part of the fight against climate change. As a consumer, your support of green power helps to promote and increase the use of green energy, thereby reducing pollution and the dependence on fossil fuels.

SEIA

The Solar Energy Industries Association is the national trade association of solar energy industry. As the voice of the industry, SEIA works to make solar a mainstream and significant energy source by expanding markets, removing market barriers, strengthening the industry and educating the public on the benefits of solar energy.

The 501 c (6) trade group is composed of four main departments: Government Affairs, Meetings, Communications and Membership. Primary activities are to effectuate federal policy that reduces barriers and improves market conditions for the U.S. solar energy market. A separate 501 c(3) called the Solar Energy Research and Education Foundation (SEREF) oversees policy-driven research and develops education outreach programs to promote positive policy and further deployment of solar energy in the U.S. SEIA also manages a Political Action Committee (PAC) for political fundraising.

SEIA coordinates with several state and regional chapters and other groups including the American Solar Energy Society, Solar Alliance, Solar Electric Power Association, Solar Nation and Vote Solar along with numerous renewable energy, business and environmental groups.
